There’s something special about coming home, coming home to the people who’ve always known you, coming home to the values that made you what you are. Something that makes you breathe a little deeper, stand a little taller.

We’ve organized this bank, Commerce Union Bank, because we want that. We want to be able to say hello to our neighbors and friends, making life a little easier, a little better for them every day.

Most of us have worked for the big banks. We know banking. We’re professionals. But we want more. We want relationships with our customers, and we want those relationships to make a difference in the way we do business. We want banking decisions for our customers to be made by people who understand – because we live here.

We know better than anyone that banking depends on absolute integrity, on a relationship of trust, and we’re going to build this bank’s reputation for integrity every day, with every deposit or loan, every check cashed, every conversation with our customers. We do our jobs with integrity every day. It’s good business. Our customers expect it. Most of all, it’s who we are.

Our story began in Springfield and Robertson County. Now we have expanded our bank to include Gallatin and Sumner County. We are growing but our commitment has not changed. We are still a community bank, growing out of the values of our communities and serving them. We are committed to serving the banking needs of Middle Tennessee. That is our identity, our core. Who knows what is in store for us in the future but you can bet our values will not change.
